I've managed to backup to "git checkout 'main@{2025-03-15 12:00:00}'", which has hash d3c4b002d. After rebuilding and re-install world/kernel, and rebuild gpu-firmware and drm-515-kmod, I can successfully load radeonkms.ko and run startx. The desktop I expect comes up. So, whatever is causing the issue appears in src/ after the above date. I'll move forward to 2025-04-15.
