last week I had FreeBSD 2.2BETA
on a 486-100 32megs ram, Orchid FA 1280+, and noname 14inch monitor.
I had been working on this machine for years..

this week I have same machine
except added 32megs more ram.

now when starting X, xinit, or xdm,
the machine either freezes or reboots.

everything else on the machine seems fine.
in fact I am using pine on it right now.
( I have run 5 xv, 5 emacs, and a couple netscapes
remotely just to give the 64megs a workout
  with no ill effects)

	any ideas?

(no I am not using a AH-154x)
