Well, I cut-n-paste the build instructions that I wrote myself. They work
fine for everyone with similar setups. At least, I have had no reports that
there are omissions or typos.
This does not seem to be build environment related. I cannot load the class
if I run java from the command line. I get the same message as in the build.
For some obscure reason the Linux JDK just won't see the class file that it
just build itself.
