SOLVED: This seems to be an issue discussed here: https://github.com/freebsd/pkg/issues/347 And it is solved by running: pkg clean -ya to disable cache. #pkg update #pkg upgrade #pkg install -f xf86-input-keyboard xf86-input-keyboard SOLVED.
