I've got a G450 Dual Headed and mine works fine the only thing is I've not compiled it I've just installed the standard XFree86 packages and the screen looks fine to me. I can't get the same hertz setting on XFree86 as with windows sadly but thats it not something that bothers me. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-hardware@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-hardware@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Greg Lehey Sent: 25 February 2002 23:16 To: Lev Serebryakov Cc: hardware@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: Matrox G400 & XFree86 4.1 & native driver -- does it works for somebody? This doesn't look like an XFree86 4.x config file to me. Take a look at http://www.lemis.com/~grog/XF86Config/echunga-feb2002.html for a comparison. I've never had problems like this with my G400. I wonder if 1152x864 is supported by the card; try switching to 1024x768 and see what happens. > I don't like ``symbol unresolved''' messages in X output. Hmm. I haven't seen that, but I don't have any saved output to compare. It wasn't flagged as an error, so maybe it's OK.
