Hello. I have a question, which isn't related to FreeBSD only, but is related to bash or, maybe, some of other shells. When I'm trying to type something like that: $ sudo boo-boo-boo > /some/file and if I haven't permission to write /some/file, bash responds: "permission denied". I don't like to type `su` or `sudo bash`, but it seems to be only one method to do. :-( Can somebody advice me, can I do something else? -- V.Melnik To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
