Mine is: MAC/BB RTL8192EU, RF 6052 2T2R. In AP mode hostapd(8) allows stations to associate and dhcpd(8) hands out IPs allowing stations, bridged to a wired interface, access the network. However in STA mode it will not associate with either with wpa_supplicant or configured manually.
