Rudolf, I have some connections with the IBM IDC center in Brno. Please tell what you would like to have as a upgrade - for example 4x512MB ECC modules and a new P-4 CPU. I will try to have a conversation and find a decision maker. I will need backup from FreeBSD Foundation in terms of returning the favour to the IDC and IBM or another sponsor. So if another person from the FreeBSD Foundation/core team has better connections with a with some of the F-500 companies, drop a line here. I'd like to help with a personal contribution, but I'm doing flat hunting now and will need all my resources there first. > PS: The server starts to be really used when there are new datas, > so if there is any donator around the world, there are currently > 1 x Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz/512k L2 with 533 MHz FSB, socket PGA604 > 4 x 512 MB Registered ECC DDR-266 SDRAM DIMM modules > in the server, where both processor and memory can be both doubled > (up to 2 processors and 8 memory modules).
