Take a look at the FreeBSD Handbook:

http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/index.html

This is a very good starting point for nearly every question about FreeBSD.

For your question go to:

http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/mirrors.html

As far as I know there is also a FreeBSD-Server in the Czech Republic, but I
don't know how fast this on is (look at ftp://ftp.cz.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386 ).

For a basic installation you only need the first of the 4 CD images. But if
you want additional packages (and I think you will) you may need all of them.
A download of ISO-Images is only a good choice when you have a fast internet
connection. Otherwise I would look for a CD set from a distributor.
