Yes, I'm aware, there surely must be > some differences between the Linux and FreeBSD versions. What version of xorg are you using on Linux and on FreeBSD? X -version should tell you I might have missed it in an earlier e-mail, but what resolution does FreeBSD come up in? xdpyinfo should tell you that Gary
