Today I've read finding of Debian development: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=786909#51 Chrome downloads binary package as extension. I've found this binary and it's compiled for SYSV, i.e. Linux: $ file Extensions/lccekmodgklaepjeofjdjpbminllajkg/0.3.0.5_0/_platform_specific/x86 -64_/hotword-x86-64.nexe Extensions/lccekmodgklaepjeofjdjpbminllajkg/0.3.0.5_0/_platform_specific/x86 -64_/hotword-x86-64.nexe: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), statically linked, BuildID[sha1]=24d25d55886dca48921031d6928b0a34f5659830, stripped $ pwd /usr/home/mizhka/.config/chromium/Default I suspect that it can be root cause of crashes of v43, because there was no chromium crash on my laptop at all! Now Chrome crashes when tries to open settings, navigate to gmail.com & plus.google.com. Best regards, Michael!help
