Yes, you're right. On 8.1 there is no problem. So that was probably a misunderstanding in a
private mail with the submitter of the earlier mentioned PR.

Thanks for your comments. BTW, are there plans to merge this header fix back into
an errata for 7.3-RELEASE? I'm just curious, as, if not, more gnu software might
run into a similar problem as the misc/findutils port.
