Well I will also try to answer issue no 1

First of all Ms Proxy doesn't support NAT so you will have to ste up each
application accordingly ..
Try to shift to FreeBSD Proxy services ... but if  for some reason you cant
then try out this
winproxy download from www.winproxy.com  it is very easy to setup also have
firewall in it  & supports NAT
so your freebsd boxes will be a charm to setup ..
tell me if you like further help on it ...
