[-- Attachment #1 --] I'm trying to telnet into a server with 4.3 and I can log in thru telnet using a regular user name and pass but it will not accept the root log in and pass. Do I have to set any special permissions to telnet into another server as a root? If so, how do I do it? I verified the password at the machine and it lets me in just fine, but not thru telnet. Thank You, Craig Rose [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 5.50.4134.600" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><FONT size=2> <P>I'm trying to telnet into a server with 4.3 and I can log in thru telnet using a regular user name and pass but it will not accept the root log in and pass.</P> <P>Do I have to set any special permissions to telnet into another server as a root?
