I'm trying to telnet into a server with 4.3 and I can log in thru telnet using a regular user name and pass but it will not accept the root log in and pass.

Do I have to set any special permissions to telnet into another server as a root? If so, how do I do it?

I verified the password at the machine and it lets me in just fine, but not thru telnet.

Thank You,

Craig Rose
