Newbie or not, I have been using FreeBSD for a long time. Someone bought me the O'Reilly book, Managing NFS and NIS. Trying for hours on end to mount a symlink off one of my servers only to find in the end, that although the book says you can mount symlinks, the man (5) exports page clearly says you cannot mount symlinks. And then people tell me that man pages are archaic! Heh....man pages are invaluable to keeping your hair _on_ your head ------------------------------------- Lanny Baron Proud to be 100% FreeBSD FreeBSD Systems, Inc; Freedom Technologies Corp. http://www.FreeBSDsystems.COM 1.877.963.1900 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
