While installing FreeBSD 13.1 (FreeBSD-13.1-RELEASE-amd64-memstick.img) usi=
ng a
USB HDD, encountered the following error after selecting the mirror to down=
load
packages:
=E2=80=9CError while fetching file:///mnt/usr/freebsd-dist/base.txz : no su=
ch file or
directory.=E2=80=9D

This happens only when base-dbg and/or lib32-dbg components are enabled dur=
ing
install. If not selected, installation is successful.

The USB HDD was prepared on openSUSE Tumbleweed using the following command:
sudo dd if=3DFreeBSD-13.1-RELEASE-amd64-memstick.img of=3D/dev/sdd bs=3D1M =
conv=3Dsync
status=3Dprogress
