I was just upgrading a friend's inspiron 1100 laptop to -CURRENT to get vmware working and this upgrade broke the 845patch program that is used to make the video memory allocation work. The 845patch program complains that it can't mmap /dev/zero (which is an odd thing to say). Has anyone else run into this and figured a cure?
