[-- Attachment #1 --] I know that I probably am not giving you much information, but I am a newbie to using Freebsd. I have the following 3d card: pci 16mb ATI all in wonder 128 I have tried every conceivable setting (obviously not the correct one though) and searched freebsd.org but cannot get my x server started except through the vga16 setting. I guess because it is such a new card that it might not be supported, but I am just curious if you have any tips. I am running Freebsd 3.4. Thanks for your help. cube whidden [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2>I know that I probably am not giving you much information, but I am a newbie to using Freebsd.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I have the following 3d card:</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>pci 16mb ATI all in wonder 128</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I have tried every conceivable setting (obviously not the correct one though) and searched freebsd.org but cannot get my x server started except through the vga16 setting.
