Not really. We don't tend to maintain ports in parallel with the base
system after software gets included - it causes too much work to keep
both copies updated and make sure they don't tread on each others toes.
There is no need for the ports version in a post-4.0 world for either
OpenSSL or OpenSSH.

Build your world with NODESCRYPTLINKS=yes, or if you're doing a binary
install then point the libcrypt links to libscrypt manually post-install.

Referring to the chapter by number was a mistake..it's since been
corrected. Installing the US version after the fact can be done by going
back and selecting the 'crypto' distribution from sysinstall - the
international version isn't available on the Walnut Creek CD (there are
internationally-produced releases which do include it) which is why it's
available separately as a package.
