No, there's no problem doing this with Windows (at least with Windows-ME) -- I have Win-ME on my laptop (so I can say "it works under Windows" when something is broken) with two FreeBSD partitions: 4.3-R (which works) and -CURRENT (in which PCMCIA is completely broken).
