usbd is going away in FreeBSD. It will be replaced by devd. Some support is needed in the usb stack for this to happen, and there may be some hidden bugs in devd that might preclude it working with usb (but I kinda doubt it). It is on my list, but if someone wants to help out, that would be great. Warner
