Hardware is PII/266 192MB with Buslogic SCSI (disks off bt0), IDE CD, Matrox G200 video, DEC Tulip ethernet (de0), and Creative Vibra 16Xv soundcard >Description: The problem is that if you: configure VESA and VM86 into the kernel boot with a VESA resolution splash screen The system is unstable and will reboot. >How-To-Repeat: Configure a kernel with VESA and VM86 boot with a VESA resolution splash screen Put the system under fairly heavy load (i.e. netscape, realplayer, make buildworld, etc) >Fix: a workaround is to not compile in VESA or VM86. I don't know of a proper fix. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
