Two Gigs for each is ample. But one caveat. FreeBSD can only be
installed on a primary partition. Since you also have Win98, that's four
systems, so you could devote a primary partition to each of them. But,
Redhat and Corel really want their own swap partition, so that's five
partitions but you can only have 4 primary on a drive.

I would suggest the following layout:

Partition 1: 2Gig primary - Win98
Partition 2: 2Gig primary - FreeBSD
Partition 3: 2Gig primary - Redhat
Partition 4: extended
Partition 5: 2 Gig logical - Corel
Partition 6: 128Meg logical - Linux swap (for both Corel and Redhat)

Also keep in mind that systems don't like to boot from above the 1024th
cylinder. On some drives this is not a problem. On others (like mine)
this is a major hassle with just two operating systems. If I were you, I
would devote space for just two extra Unix systems. One would be the one
you normally use and the other the one you play with to try out new
versions or distros.

Since you are new to Unix, I'll hazard a guess that all of these systems
will look identical to you. After all, they share 95% of their
applications between them. KDE, bash, netscape, gcc, Gimp, etc., will
all be identical from system to system. The major differences you'll
find will be in the areas of installation, setup/maintenance, and
package selection.
