Thank you both, I'll build a new kernel and give it a shot tonight when I get home. Under 3.1 majors 46-49 are still unnused. Do you know offhand if I will run into any incompatibility issues by going back to accelX as my xwindows server? I installed xfree86 but don't like it as much.
