Try Netscape 4.7 on Windows; I bet it freezes, too.

There is a growing amount of "site builder" software that causes
Netscape t lock up.  CNN corrected theirs, after being notified,
but it looks like redherring.com now has a similar problem.

For m-w.com, I was able to workaround the problem by turning off
CSS.  Your mileage may vary.
