The only one I know of is the case where both drives on a RAID1 mirror are
corrupted and you replace one bad disk with a new one and then start a
rebuild. However, it will not work because the FreeBSD version will not
skip over the bad sector on the source drive. I am not sure if I would
want this feature in the first place as I would like to know where my
corrupted data is. If both my drives are physically degraded, I would look
to restore from backups instead.

What specifically does not work with that firmware ?
