http://www.freebsd.org/releases/2.1.7R/announce.html The above URL (the announcement of FreeBSD 2.1.7) states that Walnut Creek will be giving purchasers of 2.1.6 a free upgrade to 2.1.7. I just got off the phone with them and the person I spoke with state that there was no such upgrade and the current version they were providing was 2.2.2. There appears to be some disconnect between Walnut Creek and FreeBSD Inc. I assume that Walnut Creek at one time offered such an upgrade but they have decided not to do so anymore.
