Folks Running FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE-p2 after re-compiling for smp. Now /stand/sysinstall comes back: >Can't find the `4.7-RELEASE-p2' distribution on this >FTP server. You may need to visit a different server for > the release you are trying to fetch or go to the Options > menu and to set the release name to explicitly match what's >available on ftp.freebsd.org (or set to "any"). Tried several. Cvsup entry reads: *default release=cvs tag=RELENG_4_7 *default delete use-rel-suffix . . . src-all The question is how can I get to stable from where I am now? And how did I get here?
