I've never FIPS'ed the drive in question, although I freely admit that I was begging for abuse. The drive in question is a Seagate Barracuda 12550 (2 Gig) with 1.2 Gig DOS and 800 Meg FreeBSD. (Yeah, yeah, I know better, but I swear, Officer, I was *only* reading the DOS side.) ...sjs... ---------- From: Ron G.
