   Hi,

in the porting of cheese3 we're facing the problem of how to detect
cameras. When pluggin the usb device devd passes the usb device (and so
we can see the usb device as a parameter of webcam) but we can't know
whiich /dev/video got finally created.

Is it possible to know which /dev/videoX entry was created from each
webcamd instance?

   Greets,

   Gustau
