that error is a bit misleading, i've noticed. provided you didn't already mount it (which i'm assuming you didn't), you don't need to add the 'dev/acd0c' line. try it simply as 'mount /cdrom'. also, please don't post your message 3 times to the list. we got it the first time. - erik > > hey guys I am a major noob when it comes to freebsd.
