Hi, On 14.Jan. I have rebuild world and kernel and I can report that at least two things are broken on amd64. First, Xorg can't be started (I have tried rebuilding ports/x11-servers/xorg-server but this is all I get when I try running X: # X X Window System Version 6.8.2 Release Date: 9 February 2005 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.8.2 Build Operating System: FreeBSD 7.0 amd64 [ELF] Current Operating System: FreeBSD magarac 7.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT #0: Sun Jan 15 10:17:46 CET 2006 root@magarac:/usr/src/sys/amd64/compile/TEST amd6 4 Build Date: 15 January 2006 Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.X.Org to make sure that you have the latest version. Module Loader present Markers: (--) probed, (**) from config file, (==) default setting, (++) from command line, (!!) notice, (II) informational, (WW) warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented, (??) unknown. (==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Sun Jan 15 13:20:37 2006 (==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" and nothing happens. I have also noticed that joe is broken too (it was running fine before): # joe /etc/X11/xorg.conf Processing '/usr/local/etc/joe/joerc'...Segmentation fault (core dumped) # I don't know if this is just amd64 related since it will take me some time to rebuild on i386. Regards, gg.
