I only got one (gicq) out of 4 (kicq, licq, xicq) icq clones to work without seg-faulting or giving me an error about missing library functions. And as far as my memory goes, they all worked in 3.4. Not to mention that my friend said he couldn't get Netscape to install. So I suspect X is a little bit broken in this release. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Haikal Saadh" <wyldephyre2@yahoo.com> To: <newbies@FreeBSD.ORG> Sent: Wednesday, April 05, 2000 8:00 AM Subject: Hows it all hanging with 4.0R? > I've been using it for a few weeks, and I must say, it's still not quite as > stable as 3.2 which I was using earlier. > KDE crashes on me about once a day...Not sure if that's cuz i've got XFree86 > 4.0 or not... > > How's everyone else doing? > > Join the ProcessTree Network: For-pay Internet distributed processing. > http://www.ProcessTree.com/?sponsor=5934 > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
