I've just got a report that current 4-stable's floppy image, kern.flp
is broken and it can't boot. Here is a sample session:

***

BTX loader 1.00 BTX version is 1.01
Console: internal video/keyboard
BIOS drive A: is disk0
BIOS drive C: is disk1
BIOS 637/kB/48128kB available memory

FreeBSD/i386 bootstrap loader, Revision 0.8
(root@usw3.freebsd.org, Mon Jan 15 11:41:27 GMT 2001)
/kernel text=0x24113b data=0x2fdac+0x201ec
elf_loadexec: cannot seek
can't load module '/kernel': input/output error
|
Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or any other key for command prompt.
Booting [kernel]...
/kernel text=0x24113b data=0x2fdac+0x201ec
elf_loadexec: cannot seek
can't load 'kernel'
can't load 'kernel.old'

Type '?' for a list of commands, 'help' for more detailed help.
ok

What's going wrong?

P.S.: I've confirmed this on VMware Workstation so there is no
possibility that floppy drive and/or floppy media are broken :-)
