Under Ubuntu 10.04 are these the last lines from dmesg when I plug the
Creative webcam in :

[ 241.428030] usb 4-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address
2
[ 241.685142] usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 241.700782] pwc: Philips webcam module version 10.0.13 loaded.
[ 241.700790] pwc: Supports Philips PCA645/646, PCVC675/680/690,
PCVC720[40]/730/740/750 & PCVC830/840.
[ 241.700794] pwc: Also supports the Askey VC010, various Logitech
Quickcams, Samsung MPC-C10 and MPC-C30,
[ 241.700798] pwc: the Creative WebCam 5 & Pro Ex, SOTEC Afina Eye and
Visionite VCS-UC300 and VCS-UM100.
[ 241.700859] pwc: Creative Labs Webcam 5 detected.
[ 242.038082] pwc: Registered as /dev/video2.
[ 242.039997] input: PWC snapshot button as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.2/usb4/4-1/input/input7
[ 242.040086] usbcore: registered new interface driver Philips webcam
bsdaddict@bsdaddict-desktop:~$

But here with Ubuntu, the Logitech cam does not seem to work. Unplugging and
re-plugging shows this in dmesg :
[ 684.648065] usb 5-1: USB disconnect, address 2
[ 684.648286] gspca: disconnect complete
[ 689.485026] usb 5-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address
3
[ 689.682151] usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 689.685151] gspca: probing 046d:092f
[ 689.744119] gspca: probe ok
bsdaddict@bsdaddict-desktop:~$

In Ekiga in de Video Devices (when both cams are plugged in), I can choose
out of : Camera (PTLIB/V4L), Unknown/Generic (PTLIB/V4L) and Unknown/generic
(2) (PTLIB/V4L). But in Ekiga I have no camera image.

In Skype 2.1.0.81 the Creative Webcam 5 works as /dev/video2. When I click
on the Test button I get an image.
