Yes. For the OP: PicoBSD works fine off a floppy (probably CD too) in 20 MB RAM (probably 16 too). Quite easy to learn (from its manpage) and configure as a bridging or routing firewall. Don't bother with the pre-configured versions as they seemed harder to learn about than picoBSD was to configure.
