Hi, I recently switched to 5.0R on my notebook and was really happy that almost everything worked out of the box. closing the display suspended(?) the notebook and I didn't like that because I often close the display to carry the notebook from one room to another.. So I had changed hw.acpi.lid_switch_state to S0. This seemed to work fine and I added hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=S0 to /etc/sysctl.conf. Now after a reboot this stopped working (either if set from sysctl.conf on boottime or manually afterwards). What now happens if I close the display is "crash" resp. the notebook gets entirely powered off (no suspend or standby). Any ideas ? Thanks in advance -- Greetings Bjoern A.
