After some two hours were passed from the notebook boot time the backlight controls are got their previous behaviour: I need to press the F-buttons about 5 or 6 times to get the backlight to up or down. Something enlarged the "event queue". Rebooted the notebook: the previour behaviour (one extra press needed) is restored. -- Eygene
