Ah, yes. I intended to mention this, but I forgot. Sorry. FreeBSD 5.0 will
have kernel threads. Needless to say that the usual disclaimers apply about
newfangled stuff. I think the Java port will be a good test case for FreeBSD
kernel threading implementation. :-)
