Yes, it destroys your slice entries! :-) It probably really shouldn't do that since it doesn't recreate them again and that's pretty bogus, but you can recreate them by hand by doing: MAKEDEV sd0s1 MAKEDEV sd0s2 What we really need is devfs, but a certain Australian can't stop re-writing it and it's therefore never quite finished.. :-) Jordan
