CPU enumeration happens by repeatedly descending through the tree -- you will note that the largest value attaine= d by i gets larger every loop. This breaks down at the last loop where it would = have gotten to CPU 71 but instead stalls. This is confusing to me since it had already gotten past CPU 66 a few times...
