In any case uname -a now reports FreeBSD www.zefox.com 12.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT #1 r325420: Mon Nov 6 07:27:29 PST 2017 bob@www.zefox.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/arm.armv7/sys/RPI2 arm and uname -p reports armv7 which is vast progress.
