What about offering some of those changes (like the patch for the bug
with blocking opens of pipes) on -arch to get widespread testing (I
assume most of those local patches aren't only no-GEOM patches)?
And please don't tell us you aren't satisfied with the quality of the
patches yet. Every patch I've seen from you so far (ok, I'm here since
ELF-day and I wasn't able to understand the issues at the beginning, but
nevertheless) was much more valuable than having the bug they fixed make
other people dissatisfied with FreeBSD.
