I don't know if a size limit is documented...  In practice, we are running
3 Seagate 80GB's off a Promise ATA100 card on a 4.4-STABLE machine
cvsupped a month or so ago I think.  This machine is currently looking
after cvsup.au.freebsd.org and has no dramas at all with the load.
