Thanks for everyone's help. I ended up buying the Tekram 390F from CMPExpress for $124 + shipping = $133 and the DCAS-34330 UW from Bason for $420 including tax and shipping. The drive from Bason is a OEM version with 3yr warranty. Bason promised to honor the warranty if IBM does not, and they noted so on the invoice. So far I am very happy with the purchase. ping
