Check the readme.txt file. Boot.flp is for alphas and for x86s with floppy drives that can handle floppies greater than 1.44mb. What you want is two floppies, one with kern.flp, the other with mfsroot.flp. Both are found here: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.2-RELEASE/floppies/ Use the rawrite utility to write these files to disk: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.2-RELEASE/tools/ Also check out the installation documentation: http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/index.html Cheers, - Nick GCM d- s++:+ !a C++++ UL++++ P+ L+++ E---- W- N+ o+ K- w--- O M V-- PS+ PE Y+ PGP++ t-- 5 X R tv-- b++++ DI++ D+ G- e* h* r- z?
