Briefly: - with CSM - with hw.acpi.reset_video=1 - without using /boot/modules/radeonkms.ko - FreeBSD 12.0-ALPHA2 #2 r337986: Fri Aug 17 22:01:23 BST 2018 Result: - endless beep when resume is attempted. A short press on the power button (around two seconds, not long enough to stop the computer) temporarily silences the beep. ---- <https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2018-August/070857.html> there's the additional advice from Johannes Lundberg. Updating the OS etc. now, I'll share test results in due course. * *
