*** Resending .. as earlier post didn't seem to have reached the list *** [ I am not exactly sure to which mailing list this question belongs. Please redirect to the correct one if this is NOT the place to ask ] Hi, I used to watch TV (of course with sound also) in FreeBSD 3.3 with Hauppage Win TV pci. Recently I upgraded to 4.0-RELEASE and now I can watch TV with no sound :-( Looking at the boot messages I found that the interrupt which was earlier used by the sound card has been taken up by the Hauppage TV card as the PCI cards are being probed first. Is there any way I can force PCI probe code not to use a particular interrupt ? I would love to have both TV and sound working together. At present I have removed the bktr device from the kernel as sound is more impartant than watching TV! Any pointers/help to resolve this conflict will be much appreciated. Regards, Ajith.
