Just got the replacement ZIP drive and it works flawlessly.. About 275 k/s
on the parallel port with da0 driver. Even unmounting/mounting works, and
this is with the 3.0-R stock driver. Not -current.
Media change works flawlessly.
It even locks the drive, so you can't eject a mounted zip disk without
first unmounting it.. Ie, you press the eject button, it waits to eject
the zip until you umount the zip.
I like it muchly and it's much better than the old sd0 driver..
Kudo's to the da0 coders..
I appologize for having wasted your time with this wild goose chase.
