When I booted the new kernel,= I did notice I got the same error previously, and a partial core file. I've decided to stop beating a dead horse on 10.2 and checked out 10.3-BETA1. (FreeBSD 10.3-BETA1 #1 r295491M) I've built the VM's and new NFS root with this, however, my binaries/ports = are built against 10.2 still. (not sure if that's the problem).
